Renaissance Strings rents all sizes of violins, violas and cellos. Instruments are rented for a minimum of three months. See below for our full list of rental rates.

Rental instruments are student quality, but selected for tone and playability. We believe that it is especially important for a beginner to have a well-fitted and adjusted instrument, making practice enjoyable for both parents and students.

A small number of better instruments are also available for rental.

Trade-ins

At any time during rental period, if a larger size is needed the instrument can be exchanged for the next size up.

New instruments purchased from us at retail may be traded at 50% buy back  for an instrument of greater value, minus the cost of any repairs.
