Since our shop is only 15 minutes away from the Violin Craftsmanship Institute, we carry many hard-to-find tools and supplies needed by the students in the program.

Students will also need a Stanley or Record 9-1/2 block plane, a waterstone (preferably Belgian), a steel burnisher, and a couple of inches of 1/8" drill rod stock (or a couple of drill bits) for alignment pins. A desk lamp and a chair cushion are also recommended.
